What is the material used in the 1-PCE Ball Valve RB BSP Ends Lockable Lever?

The valve body and ball are made from 316 stainless steel (ASTM A351 – CF8M), which provides good corrosion resistance for industrial applications. It also features PTFE seats for smooth operation and sealing.

What sizes are available for this ball valve?

This model is available in sizes ranging from 8 mm up to 50 mm, making it suitable for a variety of piping and fluid control applications.

What type of threaded ends does this valve use?

It comes with BSP threaded ends in accordance with BS 21:1973 standards, allowing it to connect with other BSP-standard pipe fittings. Optional NPT threaded ends may also be available if requested.

What is the pressure rating and bore type?

The valve is rated for up to approximately 1000 psi (69 bar) W.O.G (water, oil, gas) and has a reduced bore design, which is common in compact valves for flow control without full straight-through bore size.

What is a lockable lever and why is it useful?

A lockable lever allows you to secure the valve in either the open or closed position using a padlock or lock device. This helps prevent accidental actuation and adds a safety feature for maintenance or system isolation.
