Description

The 2-Piece 316 Stainless Steel Flanged Ball Valve is a durable full bore isolation valve designed for reliable shut-off in industrial, commercial, and process applications. Manufactured from ASTM A351 CF8M stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and dependable performance across a wide range of compatible media.

Featuring a full bore design, this valve allows high flow capacity with minimal pressure drop, making it suitable for applications where unrestricted flow is important. The PTFE seats provide reliable sealing performance, while the blow-out proof stem adds safety and durability during operation.

The valve is supplied with ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanged connections and is manufactured with face-to-face dimensions to ANSI B16.10, making it suitable for standard flanged piping systems. The lockable lever handle allows the valve to be secured in the open or closed position where controlled operation or isolation is required.

What material is this 2-piece flanged ball valve made from?

This valve features a stainless steel body and ball made from ASTM A351 CF8M (316 grade), giving it strong corrosion resistance and long life in industrial fluid systems. It also uses PTFE seats for reliable sealing performance.

What flange standards and sizes does it support?

The valve has ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanged ends for compatibility with standard piping systems. Face-to-face dimensions comply with ANSI B16.10, making installation predictable across industry applications. Sizes typically range from 15 mm up to around 300 mm.

What does “full bore” mean, and why is it useful?

A full bore (full port) design means the inside opening through the valve is about the same diameter as the pipe, allowing maximum flow with minimal pressure drop. This is ideal where unrestricted flow and low energy loss are important.

What is a lockable lever and how does it help?

The lever-operated handle can be locked in the open or closed position using a padlock, which helps prevent accidental operation and adds safety during maintenance or system isolation.

Can other flange bolt patterns be supplied?

Yes — while this model uses ANSI B16.5 Class 150 as standard, other drilling patterns and specifications may be available on request (often with pricing provided separately).
