Description

The 2-Piece 316 Stainless Steel Flanged Ball Valve with ISO mounting pad is a durable full bore isolation valve designed for reliable shut-off in industrial, commercial, and process applications. Manufactured from ASTM A351 CF8M stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and dependable performance across a wide range of compatible media.

Featuring a full bore design, this valve allows high flow capacity with minimal pressure drop, making it suitable for applications where efficient flow is required. The PTFE seats provide reliable sealing performance, while the blow-out proof stem adds safety and durability during operation.

The valve is supplied with ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanged connections and face-to-face dimensions to ANSI B16.10, making it suitable for standard flanged piping systems. The ISO 5211 mounting pad allows for direct mounting of compatible pneumatic or electric actuators, making the valve suitable for automation or future actuator installation.

The lockable lever handle allows the valve to be secured in the open or closed position where controlled operation or clear isolation is required.

What does the ISO 5211 mounting pad mean, and why is it important?

The ISO 5211 mounting pad is a standardized top flange interface that allows easy direct mounting of actuators (like electric or pneumatic actuators) without the need for custom brackets. This enables simpler automation and consistent installation across different valve sizes and actuator models.

What is a full bore valve and what are its benefits?

A full bore (full port) valve has an internal opening that matches the pipe diameter, which means fluid flows through with minimal restriction and pressure loss. This is ideal for applications where unrestricted flow and efficiency are priorities.

Why use ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanges on this valve?

ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanged ends are a globally accepted standard for bolt hole patterns and dimensions on pipe flanges. This ensures the valve can connect securely and interchangeably with standard 150 lb piping flanges used in many industrial systems.

What materials and sealing components are used in this valve?

This valve is made from ASTM A351 CF8M (316 stainless steel) body and ball for strong corrosion resistance. It also features PTFE seats which provide reliable sealing and chemical compatibility with a wide range of fluids.

Can this valve be automated later if needed?

Yes — the ISO 5211 mounting pad makes it easy to fit an actuator later, so whether you initially install the valve with a manual lever, you can later switch to electric or pneumatic automation as your system needs evolve.
