Description

The 3-Piece Stainless Steel Ball Valve with ISO mounting pad is a robust and serviceable isolation valve designed for manual operation or direct mounting of compatible actuators. Manufactured from ASTM A351 CF8M stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and dependable performance across a wide range of industrial and general process applications.

The 3-piece body design allows easier maintenance and servicing compared with one-piece and two-piece valve designs, making it suitable for applications where inspection, cleaning, or future maintenance may be required.

Featuring a full bore design, this valve provides high flow capacity with minimal pressure drop. The PTFE seats, blow-out proof stem, and investment cast body provide reliable sealing performance and durable operation.

The ISO 5211 mounting pad allows for direct mounting of compatible pneumatic or electric actuators, making this valve suitable for automation where remote or controlled operation is required.

What does the ISO 5211 mounting pad mean on this ball valve?

The ISO 5211 mounting pad is a standardized interface on the valve’s top that lets you mount pneumatic, electric, or manual actuators directly without using extra brackets or adapters. It makes automation easier and more consistent across valve brands.

What is the benefit of a full bore (full port) ball valve?

A full bore valve has an internal opening that matches the pipe’s inside diameter, so fluid flows with minimal pressure drop and restriction. This improves system efficiency, especially in high-flow applications.

Why choose a 3-piece ball valve design?

A 3-piece body design lets you remove and inspect the internal parts (ball, seats, stem) without taking the valve out of the pipeline. This simplifies maintenance and reduces downtime compared with 1- or 2-piece valves.

What are the typical pressure and connection standards for this valve?

This valve is made from 316 stainless steel with PTFE seats and is rated up to about 1000 psi (69 bar) W.O.G (water, oil, gas). It uses BSP threads to BS 21:1973, and alternative connections like Socket Weld (SW) or NPT are often available.

Can this valve be automated after installation?

Yes — because it has an ISO 5211 mounting pad, you can install an actuator (electric or pneumatic) at any time without changing the valve body or adding custom brackets, making automation upgrades easier and faster.
