The 3-Way Stainless Steel Ball Valve is a compact multi-port valve designed for flow diversion, mixing, or distribution applications in industrial, commercial, and general process systems. Manufactured from ASTM A351 CF8M stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and dependable performance across a wide range of compatible media.
This valve is available in L-port and T-port configurations, allowing different flow path arrangements depending on the application. The L-port option is commonly used for diverting flow between two outlets, while the T-port option provides greater flexibility for flow mixing, distribution, or multi-directional flow control.
Featuring a full bore design, this valve allows high flow capacity with reduced pressure drop. The TFM1600 seats, blow-out proof stem, and lockable lever handle provide reliable sealing, safe operation, and secure valve positioning.
BSP threaded ends are supplied in accordance with BS 21:1973.
An L-port valve is used to divert flow between two outlets, allowing flow in one direction at a time. A T-port valve allows mixing or distributing flow to multiple outlets, depending on the ball orientation. This valve supports both L and T port configurations, offering greater system flexibility.
A full bore (full port) design means the internal port diameter matches the pipe’s internal diameter. This allows maximum flow capacity with minimal pressure drop, which is beneficial in process and high-flow applications.
TFM1600 is an advanced PTFE-based sealing material with improved chemical resistance, lower porosity, and better temperature performance compared to standard PTFE. It provides tighter sealing and longer service life in demanding applications.
3-way 316 stainless steel ball valves are commonly used in chemical processing, water treatment, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and general industrial systems, where corrosion resistance and flexible flow routing are required.
The lockable lever allows the valve handle to be secured in a selected position using a padlock. This helps prevent accidental operation, improves safety, and is useful during maintenance or system isolation.
