What is the GTS50 50mm Pressure Gauge used for?

The GTS50 is designed for measuring and monitoring pressure in liquid or gaseous applications where the media is not highly viscous and does not attack copper alloys or crystallise.

What type of connection does the GTS50 Pressure Gauge have?

The gauge features a 1/8″ BSPT bottom-entry connection, making it suitable for installations where the pressure connection is located underneath the gauge.

What is the accuracy of the GTS50 Pressure Gauge?

The GTS50 has an accuracy of ±2.5%, making it suitable for general industrial pressure measurement applications.

Is the GTS50 Pressure Gauge suitable for oil and water pressure?

Yes. The GTS50 can be used for suitable liquid and gaseous media, including common applications such as oil and water pressure measurement, provided the media is compatible with the gauge’s copper alloy internals.

Is the GTS50 Pressure Gauge glycerine filled?

Glycerine-filled options are available for the GTS50. Glycerine filling helps dampen vibration and pressure pulsation, improving readability and helping reduce wear on the internal mechanism.

What materials is the GTS50 Pressure Gauge made from?

The GTS50 features a stainless steel housing, polycarbonate lens, aluminium dial and pointer, and a copper alloy movement.

How do I choose the correct pressure range for the GTS50?

Select a pressure range appropriate for the normal operating pressure of your system. Ideally, the normal operating pressure should sit around the middle portion of the gauge’s scale to provide clear readings and help avoid unnecessary stress on the gauge.
